Captain Dan Peretz is a native of Florida, originally from Tampa Fl, residing on St Pete Beach since 1971. He has operated charter yachts on St Pete Beach and the Tampa Bay area for that time, and currently owns and manages "Dolphin Landings Charter Boat Center" on St Pete Beach.

He has sailed extensively through out his sailing career, with the highlight of participating on one of his yachts, in the "America 500" in 1992. It was a 7 month cruise with stops in the Bahamas, Bermuda, Azores islands, Gibraltar, Africa, and Spain! Also, performed deliveries throughout the Caribbean, as well as chartered regularly to the Bahamas and Virgin Islands. Capt. Dan is also the President of the "Tall Ship Society", an ASA Instructor, has performed over 100 weddings aboard sailing yachts, and is actively involved with community associations.
